This is my spread in the latest round of the Everyday Book RR on my Yahoo group. This time the theme was colours of spice/exotic which I struggled with a bit but this is what I came up with! And can I just say I love good old tomato puree tube! LOL

Elizabeth, the central image is a tape transfer of a pic from a vintage encyclopedia stuck over a dictionary page including the definition for exotic.

Thanks, Alis. :-) The colours got a little muddy due to my over enthusiastic paint spreading but all was well in the end fortunately!!

I thought it must be a tape transfer but it doesn't look shiny. Is that true in real life?
I sanded it! I don't like shiny! :-D
