Decades AB Spread

This is my first spread in the 90s book I'm working in for the Decades AB RR I'm in. I'm currently listening to Terry Waite's biography, Taken on Trust, on audio book and when I realised that he was released in 1991 I wanted to do a spread about it for this book. The pic on the right is of a postcard he received while in captivity, of a stained glass window depicting John Bunyan in Bedford Jail, which was inspirational to him. The words underneath are the three things Terry Waite resolved not to do while being held hostage in Beirut - no regrets, no over-sentimentality and no self pity. When he was released in 1991 he had spent 1763 days in captivity, 1460 of those in solitary confinement.

This is a great choice for the 90s decade, Maz. Terry's story is totally inspirational and I loved the way that the postcard actually made its way to him during his imprisonment.
