Papers

I lied, that AB spread wasn't the last thing from today!! I had a bit of a play with Aquawash and Brusho paint powders this afternoon and these are some of the papers I made. E has been invited out for the day tomorrow so I'll have some extra art time and I might have another play with them as I had great fun with these!

And when did you get all of that stuff eh? Is Aquawash like wax? Is it Ario stuff that I have? If so, you are braver at using the stuff then I am!

Yes, it's from Ario, you were with me when I bought it!! I found it in my drawer and decided to use it on the flower power spread but it didn't work as I hoped! I then had a big blob to use up, so thrifty as ever I splodged it about on some scrap. It said something on the label about using Brusho powders so I whizzed them out too! Shall I bring them tomorrow??

Thanks, Joy! :-)

Cor - that was a long time ago then - no need to bring any of it then - maybe you can persuade me to dust mine off!

Thanks, Jill. ;-) Aquawax is a jollop for batik like effects on paper and Brusho powders are watercolour powders that dissolve in water really easily. They can be sprinkled on wet paper too. Nothing much to it, just whack on the Aquawax, let it dry and then wash colours over it. It resists the paint.
